ABOUT THE ARTISTS:

CHRISINTI - This cultural music messenger and well-loved artist, Chrisinti released his highly anticipated sophomore CD, AGAIN, (and first on Eight 76 Records) on June 28, 2005.  AGAIN was co-produced by Chrisinti and Eight76’s own Kenroy “Yahbreeze” Archibald.  The first hit single and video from the soulful Kingston based singer, “Oh Sheila” (produced by Janice “Lady G” Fyffe) was added to the CD track line-up.  AGAIN is the follow-up to his successful 2002 debut CD  Comfort My People (Kings of Kings/VP Records).  Although this is their first full-length project, Chrisinti was one of the first artists to work with Eight76.  In addition to Skasmatic’s “Magic Stuff” and Retrorespeck’s “Searched For Love”, the popular song “Set Me Free” (from Comfort My People) was also written and produced by YahBreeze.  Chrisinti is currently doing interviews and personal appearances in Jamaica and the United States to support the release of the album.

EVETTE - Evette's debut CD Lately is now available in stores and websites like Amazon.com and ReggaeSource.com as well as all MusicNet supported sites (Musicnet.com, MTV.com, Yahoo.com, etc.).  In support of the album’s release, Evette will be doing interviews and making personal appearances at several stops on the U.S. tour of the Oliver Samuels production Ras Noah and the Hawk.  Her cover of Fantasia's "Baby Mama," and current single "Without You" a (duet with veteran singer George Nooks) are just a few of the exceptional songs driving this great new CD.  “Baby Mama has been getting airplay across the US and even has made the top 10 of New Mexico’s Dancehall Chart.  The rest of the album is all original material except for tributes to two music legends: Nina Simone’s “Baltimore” and Al Green's “Here I Am Baby.”  Evette demonstrates her versatility by running the gamut from dancehall (“Something About You”, “Misleading”) to lover's rock ("Without You", "Lately") to the R&B-tinged rocksteady of "More & More" and "Pound For Pound".  Guest appearances on Lately include dancehall deejay Don Yute, Meeky, singer/rapper PMT, bassist Chris Meredith, drummer Squiddly Cole, and Barry O'Hare.  Sharon Forrester and Fiona also lend their sweet back-up vocals to a number of tracks.  Lately was produced and arranged by Eight76’s own “supa-produca”, Kenroy “Yahbreeze” Archibald.
